CONCERT – Raven&ThelightTree – Montreal, QC – 28/03/2014
FLOW : Éléments avec HuDost! (et Anit Ghosh & Jeremy Sills)
Friday, March 28, 2014
8:00pm until 11:55pm
For the Flow on Friday, Mar.28, join us for a unique journey through the elements -Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. We will integrate the ritual with the music directly, lightly facilitated by the musicians throughout the evening.
We will begin with an attunement to sound and the body. We will then venture through each of the elements using specific breath practices. The music that will be performed by HuDost will reflect the essence of each of those elements as we dance through them.
This evening will bring attention to how we are comprised of these elements and provide an opportunity to awaken the grounding, light, air, energy, and joy of every cell in our bodies!
WITH WHO
The music of HuDost, the Neo Folk World Rock Ensemble from Montreal and NY, weaves a seamless tapestry of sounds, cultivating that nameless longing that abides somewhere in all our hearts.
HuDost’s core musicians are Moksha Sommer and Jemal Wade Hines, who incorporate various instrumentation, including vocals, harmonium, Shahi Baaja, guitars, Bazouki, Dulcinet, percussion, and a slew of sonic ambient effects. Their music is a rich, eclectic blending of Pop and Rock with traditional Sufi music, Bulgarian, Croatian, Macedonian and Balkan folk music, Farsi, Turkish, Arabic, and Folk. www.hudost.com.
Jeremy Allan Michael Sills aka JAMS, is a gifted Singer/Songwriter with 15 years of training and exploring the healing power of sound. Having trained with Barclay MacMillan, Joy Gardner, Norma Gentile, Tom Kenyon, and others, Jeremy has developed a mystical healing voice and sonic awareness that inspires a remembrance of the deep and silent space within each of us. As spontaneous co-creations, his crystal bowl concerts weave a deep tapestry of high vibration frequency, in which profound awareness, transformation and healing may occur. www.jeremysills.com
