Heather Dale is a Canadian recording artist, writing Celtic songs for the 21st century. Known for her interpretations of ancient legends, Heather’s rich voice and evocative recordings have earned her fans around the world. She combines elements from Celtic folk, blues, jazz and world music… and she excels at finding modern themes within old and often overlooked material. Her innovative live shows with fellow multi-instrumentalists Ben Deschamps and Jason Sonier feature as many as a dozen folk instruments, from bodhran drum to mountain dulcimer.
“Her music is powerful stuff, reminiscent of Loreena McKennitt and Sarah McLachlan but with a depth and resonance rooted in its mythic sources.” (Vancouver Sun)

“Heather’s voice is ethereal, and it transmits light and warmth. Ben is solid ground, a steady heartbeat, a perfect foil. Both are accomplished on a myriad of instruments, at ease and connected to the crowd and genuinely full of the joy of performing. Heather and Ben clearly love what they are doing and people clearly loved sharing the experience.”
Gerald Graham, CBC Radio One (Canada)“Quite apart from being brilliant musicians/songwriters Heather and Ben are very comfortable people to be with — a joy to listen to and a pleasure to remember. One of the most fun-loving and innovative acts we’ve seen for years.”
